The Plym Valley Trail is a pretty stretch of the Devon Coast to Coast cycle ride. The traffic-free route runs through National Trust-owned woodland along the River Plym into Plymouth city centre. The trail leads past dramatic industrial ruins, towering cliff faces and across impressive viaducts. The route runs a total of 10 miles (16 km) from Dartmoor to Plymouth.
