At the bridgehead Klein Bademeusel you can have a nice shady break. Such a destroyed bridge is of course always a memorial that such a thing may never happen again.

Nice place to rest, maybe also a stage destination. The bridge was blown up by the German Wehrmacht towards the end of the Second World War. But didn't really stop the Red Army.

The Neisse bridge in the village was blown up by the Wehrmacht towards the end of the Second World War in order to prevent the red army from advancing. In the course of the reconstruction of the nearby motorway bridge, a provisional steel prefabricated bridge was built at the same place as the village bridge in the early 1950s, but it was only allowed to be used by the Soviet army. After the reconstruction of the motorway bridge was completed, the temporary bridge in Klein Bademeusel was dismantled. [9] Since then, Klein Bademeusel has been a dead end village.
