Gerlachsheim is a district of Lauda-Königshofen. The Grünbach flows through the village and shortly afterwards flows into the Tauber. The stone baroque bridge spans the stream. Four bridge saints are depicted on it: St. Kilian, St. Burkard, St. Michael and St. Nepomuk.

Gerlachsheim is a picturesque district of Lauda-Königshofen in the lovely Tauber Valley. The town is known for its impressive baroque church of St. Laurentius, which is often referred to as the "Tauber Valley Cathedral". It is one of the most important baroque buildings in the region and impresses with its magnificent interior.

In addition to the church, the former monastery is also worth a visit. The area around Gerlachsheim also offers many opportunities for hikes and bike tours along the Tauber, with wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. The town combines history, culture and nature in a charming way.
