Mannheim's landmark right in the center. From there, there is a "shopping tour" in the directly opposite "planks" with many street cafes and restaurants. Other destinations include various museums, churches, the historic castle or the rose garden, or the beautiful Luisenpark not far away with a ride on the Gondoletta on the water, which would be worth a day trip or the more distant Herzogenriedpark. Directly under the water tower is a large parking garage, so that you can start its sightseeing tour from there.

The water tower is and remains DAS landmark of the city of Mannheim. In addition to the castle and the red town hall, the water tower is one of the visual highlights, adorned by an attractive park with water features at Friedrichsplatz. Anyone who was not here did not see Mannheim.
