There are some beautiful sections along the Prüm and also very different faces on the upper, middle and lower reaches. The section around Pronsfeld may be a bit livelier on the headwaters than others. This is ensured by the attractions on the edge:
e.g. the former station Pronsfeld and of course the city Prüm.

The section marked here, from Pronsfeld to Prüm (or vice versa) is quite natural between the two points and at most leads through smaller villages. The end points of this section are the real highlights here for many cyclists.

The Prüm Valley Cycle Route follows the second longest river in the Eifel from start to finish. The route does not always run evenly along the valley floor, favouring instead a variety of uphill and downhill paths.
