On the occasion of this "Bräustüberl" I can't resist - from a purely literary point of view - and I have to briefly mention the humorist Heinz Erhardt (1909 - 1979), who I highly value and who is known to a wide audience for his wit and "Noch'n poem". was, with one of his – very rare – quote rhymes:

The monastery-owned Meierhof, which has not been used for agriculture since 1979, was rebuilt in cooperation with the Spaten-Franziskaner brewery in 1989/90, and the Bräustüberl monastery with its 350 seats and a very nice beer garden was built in the cross-vaulted former young cattle shed of the property.
