After the bridge, the indicated route leads into a narrow gorge (the dark red section in the elevation profile). This path is not recommended. It is extremely steep with scree and sections requiring scrambling. Instead, keep left after the bridge and simply follow the slope uphill towards the fortress. There are many small paths here.
