The mountain is a 26,000 year old rock formation between two wild mountain streams. The Way of the Cross with its chapels is located on the mountain. On both sides, the houses were partially built into the mountain.

I found it very interesting how these houses nestle against the rock wall so that the soot from the chimneys blacken the rock. some rooms have also been cut into the rock.
