The Stone Church can currently only be reached via poorly accessible paths.
From Themar you can get halfway up the mountain.
From Henfstädt you first have to find your way and fight your way through wild vegetation.

Yürüyüş

The ruin of the Stone Church, before the Reformation, was dedicated to a significant pilgrimage chapel and to the saint Ottilie, patron saint of the eyes. The water for healing is said to have been drawn from the well of the Ottilie spring that has been preserved.

The ruin stands on a basalt cone. Until the end of the 19th century / beginning of the 20th century basalt was mined here in a quarry.
