Small tip for the end of the tour, take the night train from Fort William back to London or Edinburgh. The famous 'Caledonian Sleeper' drives you through the breathtaking Highlands for hours and offers a wonderful graduation. Sleeping cabins are quite expensive but even the seats offer very good comfort.
