The historic town hall in Mülheim an der Ruhr is an administrative building complex located in the city center in the Altstadt I district. With a historic part from 1915, it houses the administrative board around the mayor, the city council, its committees and municipal advisory boards as well as large parts of the Mülheim city administration. This makes the town hall the political and administrative center of the Ruhr area city. In addition, it is one of its most important and, not least due to the 60-meter-high town hall tower, most characteristic architectural monuments.
