The Neu-Pudagla Forestry Office has been located in the building complex from 1848, surrounded by forest, since that year. Today the area also offers a forest cabinet exhibition, a bat roost, a forest shop and forest bistro, a rock garden and a forest nature trail.

The Neu Pudagla Forestry Office was established in 1849/50. Here you can get a lot of information on the subject of forests. A large boulder garden and the sale of wild products complete the offer. After the bombing of Peenemünde, the inventor Dr. Ing.Helmut Hoelzer temporarily worked here in the forester's house. Here he met the forester's daughter, whom he later married. As such, the forestry office is still active today.
