The best view of Saarbrücken can be enjoyed from the wall at the baroque castle. In the distance you can see the hills surrounding the urban area. If you look all the way to the right, you can see the Halberg on the outskirts of the city, where there was a hunting lodge in the days of Saarbrücken's princes, and where Saarland Radio is now based. The hill is popularly known as the "sound and riot hill".
