In Gran Canaria, this highest point is the hill where the Mirador del Pico de Las Nieves viewpoint is located. It is located in the centre of the island at an altitude of 1,949 metres. From here you can see far across the island, which has been declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. Its deep gorges full of vegetation and enigmatic rock formations are a real feast for the eyes.
