The view from the dam of the Embassament de Guadalest is truly impressive! From there you can see the turquoise water of the reservoir, framed by the surrounding mountains. The landscape is characterized by the steep rock faces and lush vegetation of the Sierra de Aitana. The picturesque village of Guadalest with its castle sits at the top - a perfect place for a photo!

Beautiful view of the reservoir from the dam wall and from the castle. Take a leisurely stroll around the castle, the best view is from the balcony. You can also go up to the fortification wall on the mountain via the exit. You can't get there otherwise. The walk around the reservoir is easy to manage, no difficulties are to be expected!
