Here, art lovers get everything at once: they can take a look at the studios of the artists who work there, visit a gallery and also have a delicious meal. The location was a hospital in the 19th century and therefore offers the perfect setting for a creative journey through history, architecture and art. The Bethanien is simply a good place to start a tour of the diverse Kreuzberg and enjoy an exciting exhibition behind a historical backdrop. Best when the weather is good!

Best example for the use and integration (and not demolition! By citizen initiative!) Of historical buildings. More info -> beautiful architecture outside and inside bethanien.de

Here I come for sure again.

Here is also the historic Fontane pharmacy to visit. Theodor Fontane trained nurses to be pharmacists here in 1848/49.

The building dates from 1845, when the construction of the future "Institute for the training of nurses ..." + own hospital was started.
