The Altenberg, Menrath, Scheuren, and Bülsberg entrances are open 24/7, except during the rutting season (October-November) when they are closed all day. During the hunting season (November-February), they are only locked on specific hunting days. The revolving gate next to the Menrath fence stile is muddy, rusted, and unusable.
