The Ziegenalm in Sophienhof is the destination and starting point for many hikes. Here children can get in touch with the cattle. You can also see wild. Sometimes the shaggy dogs stray across the grounds and pick up their pats from the children. For the grown-ups there is a farm shop with all conceivable products such as cheese, meat and sausage, goat ice cream, schnapps and skins.

A beautiful Alm with many animals. Families get their money's worth here. For a break or overnight Ziegenalm is just right. In the alpine hut there are many delicious homemade food and in the farm shop you can stock up on your provisions with home-made goat cheese.

Opening times farm shop:
Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, Sunday and public holidays from 10am to 6pm

Opening hours Almstube:
Wednesday to Friday from 12 to 18 o'clock, Sunday and holidays from 10 to 18 o'clock
