"Here stood Alt-Lübeck until 1138", the Slavic predecessor settlement of the Hanseatic city. In addition, one has from the small hill a beautiful view, for example over the Trave on the Schellbruch with its bird wealth. Anyone who shies away from a small terrain should leave the bike at the bike path and roam or push the area on foot.

At the moment one recognizes beside the well-preserved castle wall also the church foundation of Luebeck's mother church, since the whole area was just mown freshly.
(On the 7th of June a service took place here for the first time after 880 years.) This open-air church service was a program point of this year's 875-year anniversary of today's Lübeck.)
