At the Gremminer Bridge, which leads to and from Graefenhainichen, you have a great view over the lake of the same name and the peninsula on which the Ferropolis open-air museum with its open-air giants is located. The former place Gremmin had to give way to the open pit.

Can a city also have a balcony? It is located on the northern outskirts of Gräfenhainichen - accessible via the “Gremminer Bridge”, which was ceremoniously inaugurated with a bridge festival in 2001. You shouldn't miss this unique panoramic view from the city balcony over Lake Gremminer. In the distance you can see huge steel giants towering over a peninsula. The city balcony is an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours around Lake Gremminer, along the European cycle path R1, the KOHLE | STEAM | LIGHT cycle route and the European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH).
