The Catholic Herz-Jesu-Kirche was consecrated in 1907 and expanded in 1955. In 1977 it got its 12m high spire.

The Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, located at the western entrance to Loope, tells a beautiful story about the different times it was built. In 1906 the first building was started, which was expanded in 1955 after the community had grown rapidly. Above all, the interior design, which is well worth seeing, dates from this period. The church tower with its pointed roof was only added in 1977.

This church is not dedicated to one of the countless saints - people who lived their Christian faith in an exemplary manner, or even died as martyrs (martyrs) for it - and who we now venerate as intercessors at God's throne. In choosing the patronage, we turned directly to Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer: this church and parish were entrusted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
