Burg Seesen is located in the same place in a beautiful parkland. From the 13th-century moated castle, a residential tower has survived, which has four floors and was extended in 1592 by a staircase tower. The impressive tower with its 2.75 meter wide walls is now part of the district court. A visit is only possible from the outside. Paths in the park allow the circumnavigation of the moated castle. Wells in the area indicate the moat. Even if a visit is relatively short, it's worth it.

Sehusa Castle is a very beautiful old building. She doesn't seem as old as she actually is.
Next to Sehusa Castle you will find the small idyllic pond that was created by a sinkhole.
