    This chalk grassland is home to myriad plant, bird and animal species. In the summer months, the reserve erupts into life with wild thyme, squinancywort, clustered bellflower, salad burnet, horseshoe vetch and restharrow. There have been 37 species of butterfly recorded here and it is a fantastic place to spot birds such as red kite, buzzard, kestrel, whitethroats, willow warblers, blackcaps, wheatear and ring ouzel.

    Great views from the top and there is a car park nearby so you don't have to walk up.

    There is usually a coffee van across the road from the car park. Car park is free, but gets very busy. Walking route is good and easy.
