It is part of a procession dedicated to the Seven Sorrows of Mary.
The second is "The Flight into Egypt", depicted here on a white bas-relief.
On the left against the wall is a holographic print of Christ suffering on the cross: depending on where you stand, you see his eyes open or closed.
Before 1940, this chapel was also called "Versluyens kapelleke". A chapel is indicated on the ICM map of 1862-1863, this was rebuilt in 1891.
