Baška on the island of Krk has stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters. Vela Plaža is particularly popular.
In the old town and around the harbor, there are many pleasant restaurants and bars, some of which are right on the waterfront, where you can watch the vibrant life pass by!
The area also offers many hiking opportunities, albeit mostly on gravel paths, in beautiful natural surroundings and often with sea views!
There are also historical sights, such as the Church of St. Lucija.

The islands of Cres, Krk and Prvić are the last Croatian areas where griffon vultures live. In the town of Beli there is a nature conservation centre called “Visitors' Centre and Recreation Centre for Griffon Vultures”. The centre is active in the field of environmental protection and protection of this endangered bird species.
