At Aliko Beach, an unfinished hotel has become a tourist attraction. The building could have once been a real gem, but, as is common on some islands, construction was apparently carried out without the necessary permits. The hotel would have been an unusually large complex by Naxos standards. In any case, construction was halted, and all that remains now is a modern ruin, spruced up by graffiti artists.
Be careful when exploring the construction site. Of course, nothing is secured here, and as a result, numerous curious onlookers have been injured.
