The Teut shows the heathlands as they covered a large part of Limburg in the first part of the 20th century. The hiking trails are freely accessible and there are various hiking routes. There is also a camping site on the Teut, called Holsteenbron. The area is also home to De Holsteen, the collective name for eight large Miocene sandstones.
