The Rüdigerhof includes the Café Rüdigerhof, which has existed since April 1903. The café was and is a popular meeting place for artists, intellectuals and Viennese coffee house lovers. The furnishings date from the 50s and 60s and have only been minimally changed since then.
Worth mentioning is the large Schanigarten with a view of the Vienna River, located on three tiered terraces with old maple trees. The café is open until 2 a.m. in summer.

Marmorek was one of the most important supporters of Theodor Herzl, the spiritual father of Israel, of the Zionist movement.
Trotsky and Lenin were guests at Café Rüdigerhof.
Today it is a nice café and restaurant for "normal" people, not a tourist hotspot. Prices are OK
