Yürüyüş

The city's main parish church of St. Egid is not only located in the centre of the state capital Klagenfurt in the narrow sense of the word, as it is probably the oldest church in the city, its history is also closely interwoven with the fate of Klagenfurt since the High Middle Ages.

Yürüyüş

The 91.7 m high tower of the parish church of St. Egid on Pfarrplatz, with its 50 m high viewing platform, offers a wonderful view of the old town of Klagenfurt and a magnificent panoramic view - Wörthersee, Karawanks, Koralpe.
It is worth climbing the tower with its 225 steps. The history of the parish tower and the tower keepers and their utensils is shown in the old tower keeper's apartment.

Yürüyüş

...a great option is a hike from Lake Wörthersee along the Lend Canal into the city center! In the city center, you'll find historic buildings, lovely restaurants, cafés, and beer gardens! 🚶🏻‍♂️🍷☕️😋
