The Benedictine monastery of St. Martin was founded in 1082. Today it is certainly one of the most impressive cultural sites in Freiamt. The location directly on the Reuss is very harmonious, and the gardens are also worth a visit. The monastery also has a monastery shop with its own products such as honey, monastery pastries, jams and tea.
