The Bergisches Museum has existed since 1928. At that time, it was founded by the citizens as the Heimatmuseum Bensberg. Today his exhibition shows how people in our region lived and worked around 150 years ago. We also tell the story of local ore mining from the Romans to the end of active mining in the 1970s.
