The Bethlehem Church in the Dresden district of Tolkewitz, built in 1950/51, is one of three churches in the Dresden-Blasewitz parish. Built to a design by Wolfgang Rauda and Fritz Steudtner, it was the first new church in East Germany after the Second World War. The church, in the style of homeland protection architecture, is characterized by its functional design as a hall church with a side tower. The pulpit, altar and baptismal font were made of sandstone from Saxon Switzerland.

The Bethlehem Church is located in the Dresden-Tolkewitz district, at Marienberger Straße 65.
It is our smallest church - as far as the space of the nave is concerned. And yet the Bethlehem Church is not in the shadow of the other two church buildings. As can be seen in our logo, it is nicely placed in the middle.
Open church: open every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. during the summer months.
