Six figures are embedded in the facade of the old house. They come from the tomb of Walpurgis von Rietberg, which used to stand in the old Esens church. These caryatids surrounded a sarcophagus. A pastor had the tomb removed in 1790 because it bothered him. The dollhouse is a listed building. The originals can now be found in the church again, as they had suffered too much from the weather here in the facade. Today the dollhouse is a private residence.
