The historic Aspendos Bridge was built in Roman times.
The bridge was destroyed by the earthquakes in Roman times and a new bridge was built by the Seljuks on the ruins of the old bridge in the 13th century. The historic Aspendos Bridge, in which stones from the structures of the ancient city of Aspendos were also used, is 225 m long. The historic bridge, which is closed to vehicle traffic, attracts the attention of thousands of local and foreign visitors every year
