The summit cross is a little way away from the summit, because the beautiful lookout tower is located there. However, it is right on the path and cannot be overlooked. The path is easy to walk. No special skills or equipment are required. The summit cross and the lookout tower are already in Hungary.

The Geschriebenstein with 884 meters is the highest mountain in Burgenland. The observation tower was built in 1913 and offers a great panoramic view. On various boards you can learn some really interesting information about the history of the region. A few meters behind is already the Hungarian border.
