Pilgrimage site from pre-Reformation times. Healing water - many sick people are said to have recovered. The water dried up in an earthquake in 1911 and reappeared in 1938.

The older generation of Tailfinger residents can still remember how strong their belief in the positive effects of the water from the Heilig Brünnle was in their younger years. The facility has long since become nothing more than a meeting point to enjoy the beautiful view over Truchtelfingen and the valley.

It goes on to say: “In the past, its water had healing powers. Sick people drank it, injured people washed their wounds and clothes in it, and as a result they all became whole and healthy. As thanks, they put a coin at the spring or a piece of clothing for the poor. If the sick people could not walk themselves, they had the water fetched. The Truchtelfinger women also washed their small children's clothes in the miraculous water.”
