In its middle course, the Perino shows its most rugged connotation. From the source it is rather slow and calm, but right here it suddenly narrows into a narrow gorge.
It is precisely at this point that the most evocative part of the valley begins, as the rock, strongly stratified, has a dozen jumps, which the torrent overcomes forming as many natural waterfalls, the highest of which reaches 17 meters in height.
