    Vlhošť is a distinctive neovolcanic mountain in the Česká Lípa district and is the highest peak of the Polomeny Mountains. The Vlhošť Nature Reserve is located on the peaks and parts of the slopes of Vlhoště and Malé Vlhoště and is managed by the Kokořínsko – Mách Region PLA.

    The Vlhošť Nature Reserve in the Ralská pahorkatina in the Český Lipský region includes the Vlhošť hills (614 m), Malý Vlhošť (439 m) and the surrounding forested area full of Tertiary sandstone rocks.
    The protected wood pigeon and the short-eared owl nest in the local beech forests. In the last few years, the peregrine falcon has also nested in the rock towers.
