The Munich Gate, also called Nagelschmiedtor, stands in the northwest of the old town. The high medieval gate tower with a crenellated crown and a round arch is part of the 12th / 13th century. Century fortification. The lower part with the passage testifies to the Romanesque period (12th / 13th centuries). The upper floors are younger, but also date from the Middle Ages. It is the most beautifully preserved city gate in the district of Mühldorf am Inn.
