"The March Revolution of 1848/49 also left its mark in Frohnhofen. After the Bavarian state parliament had adopted the basic rights formulated in Frankfurt's Paulskirche in January 1849, it was now up to the Bavarian King Maximilian II to agree to this constitution. To convince him, meetings were held all over the country, including in Frohnhofen. 3,000 people came to the meeting organized by Kilian Müller, landlord of the local brewery, on April 9."
