The church tower on a square floor plan in the west of the nave was built around 1480, the recessed choir in the east, closed on three sides and supported by buttresses, around 1500. Parts of the previous building, first mentioned in documents in 1160, were included. During a renovation in 1781, the nave of the hall church was expanded to form a transept to form a cross church. The church tower was topped with an octagonal floor, which houses the tower clock and the belfry, and covered with an eight-sided pointed tent roof.
