Former fish market in Karlskrona: Located directly on the waterfront, Fisktorget once served as Karlskrona's fish and vegetable market. Today, the square, within sight of the old Sergeant's Palace, Grevagården, with the Blekinge Museum, is a hub for numerous boat tours to the islands in the Karlskrona archipelago.

The Fisktorget was used as a market place for over 300 years. Initially, it was the Wachtmeister family who sold agricultural products on the jetty of their palace. Over time, this developed into a flourishing market trade in fish and all kinds of other goods. In the first half of the 20th century, there was even a market hall on the Fisktorget.
