The Kesselbach Nature and Photo Friends were originally founded on October 27, 1958 as photo friends, who immediately documented the village's events in images and sound. As early as 1962, the 1912 gymnastics club celebrated its 50th anniversary, and the photo enthusiasts took slides and made tape recordings. In 1973 the association's statutes were expanded to include nature lovers.
