The castle Kamýk (German Kamaik) is located in the south of the Bohemian Uplands in northern Bohemia (Czech Republic). From the small castle, only a few parts of the palace and the residential tower located on a steep basalt rock are preserved. Despite the small remnants, Kamýk Castle is one of the most striking examples of medieval castle construction in northern Bohemia.

Kamýk is the ruins of a Gothic castle in the district of Litoměřice. The ruin is located on a rocky basalt promontory at an altitude of 350 meters in the cadastre of the village of Kamýk near Litoměřice in the Český středohoří. It has been protected as a cultural monument since 1964.

The remains of the medieval castle Kamýk stand on a steep rock at an altitude of 382 meters above the village of the same name. The castle was built by King John of Luxembourg to protect the road to Litoměřice. At the same time, the castle also served as a signaling function.
