The Baumschulenbrücke leads Baumschulenstrasse at a 45 degree angle over the Britzer connecting canal at canal kilometer 29.82. The structure, an iron framework construction, was a replacement for the bridge built in 1904 in 1995/96 and was rebuilt based on the historical model. The original bridge was partially destroyed by German troops during the Battle of Berlin in 1945 and was later only temporarily repaired. Together with the access ramps, it also spans several allotment gardens on both sides of the canal.
