The Venturada watchtower is part of the set of Muslim defensive towers from around the 10th century that were distributed throughout the Jarama basin and served the then kingdom of Toledo. This particular one is built on a rock base that gives it a more spectacular look. In addition, its carefully selected location provides unparalleled views of the Sierra Norte environment.

It is next to the Cotos de Monterrey urbanization. It can be seen from the A-I highway and controlled the passage to the Sierra de la Cabrera.
To see it up close, just leave the car at the entrance to the control pass of the urbanization and walk a few meters to the right to get there. By bike you can get there perfectly.
