    It is basically imperative to climb Moughton (427m), the highest spot on the Moughton plateau, if you are in this area. There is a trig point here to rest your backpack against.

    The views are extraordinary; miles and miles of completely unobstructed space. Looking in the eastern direction, be sure to spot the summit of Pen-y-ghent in the distance, and Plover Hill to the left of it, too.
