It all started in 1822 when Johann Georg von der Linde opened a general store.
The son came along in 1855 and the business was sold in 1871.
Wilhelm Boetticher took it over and turned it into a laundry and trousseau house.
The move to the current location took place in 1890.
Modernized, destroyed and rebuilt, you can still buy beautiful linen here today.
