The Frog Fountain by Hof artist Alfred Pflügner stands at the lower end of the carpeted garden. In 1951, the local beautification association donated the fountain in memory of Rudolf Hutschenreiter, the creator of this botanical garden. The artist also immortalized a Hof celebrity in stone: the statue of Wärschtlamo on Sonnenplatz is also by Alfred Pflügner.

The lower end of the carpet bed is adorned with the famous frog fountain by the Hof artist Alfred Pflügner.

This was donated by the Hof Beautification Association in 1951 in memory of Rudolf Hutschenreiter, the creator of the Hof Botanical Garden. And it's not just children who enjoy holding the two gargoyles with their fingers and letting them go again on hot summer days. Try it!
