The place is located in the southwest of the Canary Islands and is a mixture of a tourist zone and a rustic village center. An eye-catcher is the rustic village center, which gives the place the name Venice of Gran Canaria. Here, colorful houses decorated with plants are lined up, with canals running between them, which you cross over small bridges.

Puerto de Mogán is often referred to as the “Little Venice” of Gran Canaria. A canal flows from the sea through the picturesque port town, reminiscent of the atmosphere of Venice. Several bridges also lead you over this canal and connect the “Playa de Mogán” beach with the town’s port. The port is particularly idyllic with flowers, small alleys and restaurants.
